Electives
Elective time is scheduled for six weeks in your PGY-3 year. Various opportunities
exist within the current system for enhancing
our residents education.
The following is needed before approval of an elective:
- Goals and Objectives
- Supervisor
Evaluator: (who will evaluate you)
- Schedule of activities: What activities you will
be involved in during your rotation? Clinics, call, rounds, etc.
Once that has been reviewed, a note will be sent
to the Evaluator regarding the elective. If you have any questions, please
contact Dr. Knopp early. If you wait until right before the elective to do
this you might get caught in a time crunch.
