Medical Relief:  (Haiti) -  The fellow would help staff a newly built clinic.  Previously held temporary clinics have seen as many as 300 patients per day.

Medical Education: (Quito, Ecuador) - The fellow will act in a supervisory role for a rotating emergency medicine resident in the public hospital.  Typical days would include time spent in the ICU as well as the emergency department.

Emergency Medical Teaching in a Foreign System:  (Cochabamba, Bolivia)  - The fellow would be in charge of putting on an established annual conference for physicians, nurses, and dentists.  The conference most recently held in October of 2010 included over 400 attendees from all over Bolivia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other locations are available for rotation and the fellow may set up their own experience provided the rotations meet certain requirements.
